The company’s main activity is to provide turnkey training support to the military services of NATO and allied nations.
The IOPFOR is a generic threat emulation system that incorporates the latest technological advances and elements that make up the modern military toolbox. Be it in the air, on the ground, in space or cyberspace, the IOPFOR makes up a training capacity second to none other in the world.
Privately funded, the company uses a “Field of Dreams” approach that provides a realistic solution to the risk adverse customers that modern military forces are.
At full capacity, ECA can provide 12,000 hours of training support in a market where the total training need is worth over 264,000 flight hours, only 36,000 hours of which are taken up by older generation, non integrated, OPFOR service providers.
